Geekplus-W Completes HKD 17.08 Million On-Market Share Buyback, Reducing Outstanding Shares by 0.21%

Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (Geekplus-W) repurchased 2.10 million Type B WVR ordinary shares on 16 September 2026, executing the transaction on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under its ongoing buyback mandate.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 7.98 to HKD 8.24, delivering a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 8.13 per share and an aggregate consideration of HKD 17.08 million. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury shares.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 979.90 million from 982.00 million, while treasury shares increased to 44.25 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.02 billion. The latest repurchase represents 0.214% of the issued share base prior to the buyback.

Geekplus-W’s shareholders approved a mandate on 26 May 2026 allowing the repurchase of up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this authorization now total 44.25 million shares, equating to 43.21% of the mandate limit and 4.32% of the company’s share capital on the mandate date.

In accordance with Main Board Rule 10.06, Geekplus-W is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 16 October 2026. The company affirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant listing rules and regulatory requirements.
