Macau Legend Development Limited reported that it expects to post a net loss of approximately HK$136.80 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, down sharply from a HK$1.42 billion loss in the prior-year period.
The turnaround is primarily attributed to the absence of impairment losses on non-financial assets during the current reporting period. In the first half of 2025, the group booked HK$1.27 billion in impairment charges, which heavily weighed on results.
Management noted that the figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and remain subject to review by the company’s independent auditor and audit committee.
Macau Legend plans to release its full interim results by the end of August 2026. The board advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities until the finalized numbers are available.
