At the 2026 Yunqi Conference this afternoon, Qianwen Office unveiled its AI Agent hardware product, the QwenNote, alongside the launch of its first device, the QwenNote A2. This new device allows users to activate Qianwen Office with a single command and automatically converts offline interactions into external context for the platform. According to Chen Yusen, CEO of Qianwen Office, the A2 is an upgraded version of the A1 recording card launched by DingTalk in 2025.

The A1's core function was voice recording and transcription. Building on that, the A2 integrates Qianwen Office and embeds Agent capabilities. In the legal sector, for instance, lawyers meeting with clients, attending court hearings, or conducting internal discussions can use the A2 to transcribe on-site exchanges and generate structured meeting notes. Afterward, by simply saying, "Turn the recent client conversation into a case memo, flag the three pieces of evidence that need to be gathered, and schedule a team sync for this Friday," Qianwen Office processes the transcription to organize the memo, compile an evidence checklist, and link with DingTalk to create tasks and calendar invites.

To safeguard user privacy, the A2's transcription feature is designed to be "trace-free." Before transcription, audio is encrypted and transmitted to the cloud, and each session is immediately destroyed after processing—the raw audio is physically deleted, leaving only the text and meeting summaries. This allows users to speak freely without worrying about sensitive information being stored. Chen Yusen shared his latest perspective on AI-driven office work, arguing that the future of office productivity will be fully automated and seamless, with AI handling information collection, extraction, and summarization, while humans focus on execution.

This philosophy is directly reflected in the new AI hardware QwenNote A2. Discussing the product's core proposition of "True AI, No Recording," Chen Yusen noted that today's AI voice transcription is accurate enough to make recording unnecessary. He introduced the concept of "effortless office work," where users don't need to consciously record; they simply converse naturally, and the device takes notes automatically. Recording often triggers privacy concerns and creates emotional distance, whereas "note-taking" feels more natural and less intrusive. The QwenNote A2 does not record by default and activates a small green indicator light during operation. Once a conversation ends, the voice data is transcribed once in the cloud, and the original recording is immediately and permanently deleted, ensuring private transmission with a "transcribe-then-destroy" approach.

Chen Yusen stressed that effortless office work depends on trust and security. AI operations must have clear boundaries: security parameters are defined in advance, the AI self-reviews with human approval during tasks, and file protection and fallback measures are in place afterward. Many operations should run in a sandboxed environment, while file-deletion actions can include preemptive backups to ensure that accidental removals are recoverable. On the data connectivity front, Qianwen Office delivers end-to-end data security: sensitive data is classified and tagged, remains inaccessible to AI by default, and requires organizational approval for any access. Additionally, outputs containing internal confidential information must be controlled rather than freely distributed, preventing AI from becoming a source of data leaks.
