SUCCESSUNIVERSE (00487) announced its annual results for the period ended December 31, 2025. The Group recorded revenue of HK$59.737 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 16.29%. However, it reported a loss attributable to shareholders of HK$410 million, a swing from profit to loss compared to the previous year. The loss per share was HK 8.33 cents.

The transition from profit to loss was primarily attributed to two factors. Firstly, the cessation of operations at the Sixteen Sands Entertainment Complex from November 29, 2025, led to the recognition of a significant impairment loss of approximately HK$341 million on the Group's interest in these associates, a situation not present in 2024. This was coupled with the Group's share of losses from these associates. Secondly, the Group experienced a substantial decrease in fair value gains on its overseas listed equity securities, which fell to approximately HK$26.4 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, from about HK$89.2 million in the same period last year.
