A major recruitment drive is underway, with more than 8,000 employers aiming to fill over 110,000 vacancies. This initiative is a key component of the upcoming National College Graduates and High-Level Talent Exchange Conference, set to be a highlight of the development forum. Today, over 8,000 organizations, participating both online and offline, are offering more than 20,000 job categories to attract domestic and international talent, with a total hiring target exceeding 110,000 people. On-site recruitment alone features over 8,000 positions, with plans to hire more than 50,000 candidates.

The available roles span a wide array of sectors, including traditional advantageous industries, strategic emerging sectors like next-generation information technology, and cutting-edge future fields such as artificial intelligence. There is particularly strong demand and a high volume of openings for positions in machinery, electrical and automation engineering, electronic information, chemical engineering, computer science, and intelligent manufacturing and robotics. In terms of compensation, the average annual salary offered by participating employers is 164,000 yuan, with 71.6% of positions providing an annual salary of at least 100,000 yuan and 26.3% offering 200,000 yuan or more.

A collaborative job-seeking and recruitment large model is being launched, jointly developed by the Information Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, following the ministry's directives. This large model embeds extensive frontline practical experience into its core capabilities, enabling AI to deeply understand the underlying logic of matching candidates with jobs. It offers open access channels, breaks down data barriers between government and enterprises, and addresses the computing power constraints faced by smaller agencies, providing one-stop empowerment for job seekers, employers, and human resource service institutions.

At the development conference, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security also signed a memorandum of understanding with the World Employment Confederation. This agreement focuses on fostering international exchange and cooperation in areas such as optimizing human resource allocation, strengthening the synergy between industry and employment, and building a modern human resource services industry system. The World Employment Confederation is a global industry organization comprising national associations and leading human resource service companies, dedicated to promoting the development of the global HR services industry, advocating for ethical and fair recruitment practices, and sharing cutting-edge insights from the labor market.

Looking ahead, the 8th APEC Ministerial Meeting on Human Resources Development will open tomorrow in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Themed "Shaping Modern Human Resources for Building an Asia-Pacific Community," the meeting will address three key topics: promoting high-quality full employment by fostering employment-friendly development models, prioritizing investment in people to enhance the quality and effectiveness of vocational skills training, and strengthening the social security system to make it more robust, optimized, and sustainable. Recognizing the significant role of artificial intelligence in APEC's human resources development cooperation, the meeting will also deliberate on AI's impact on employment across the Asia-Pacific region and explore effective pathways for leveraging AI to empower human resource development.
