Fosun Pharma buys back 1.30 million H shares for HKD 22.24 million

Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. (“Fosun Pharma”) disclosed that on 16 September 2026 it repurchased 1.30 million H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 16.91 to HKD 17.26 per share, with a volume-weighted average of HKD 17.11. The transaction cost totalled HKD 22.24 million.

Following the buy-back, the number of issued H shares (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.24% to 533.51 million, while treasury shares increased to 18.43 million. The total issued share capital remained unchanged at 551.94 million shares.

The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 16 June 2026, which allows Fosun Pharma to buy back up to 54.10 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has repurchased 7.46 million shares under this mandate, representing 1.38% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Fosun Pharma is subject to a 30-day moratorium—lasting until 16 October 2026—on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares after this repurchase.
