CGN New Energy Announces Additional Share Buyback; HK$10.30 Million Spent on 4.81 Million Shares in September

CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. disclosed via a Next Day Disclosure Return that it repurchased 526,000 ordinary shares on 15 September 2026. The shares were bought on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HK$2.125 to HK$2.155, representing a volume-weighted average cost of HK$2.14 per share and an aggregate consideration of approximately HK$1.12 million. The shares are intended for cancellation and have not yet been removed from the share count.

Including this latest tranche, CGN New Energy has acquired 4.81 million shares between 1 September and 15 September 2026 at volume-weighted average prices between HK$2.10 and HK$2.17, for a cumulative outlay of roughly HK$10.30 million. The repurchased amount equals 0.112 % of the company’s 4.29 billion issued shares as of the 28 May 2026 annual general meeting, when shareholders approved a mandate allowing repurchases of up to 428.99 million shares. Utilisation of the mandate therefore stands at about 1.12 %.

The company’s issued share capital remains at 4.29 billion shares, with no treasury shares held, as the repurchased shares await formal cancellation. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, CGN New Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 15 October 2026.
