Zhejiang Province Plans 39 Billion Yuan in Local Government Debt Issuance for October

On September 20, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance disclosed the government bond issuance schedule for October 2026, revealing plans to issue 39 billion yuan in local government bonds during the month.

Set to be issued in late October, the new bonds will total 22.5 billion yuan, comprising 8.9 billion yuan in new general bonds with a 10-year maturity, alongside 13.6 billion yuan in special new special-purpose bonds spanning 10-year, 15-year, and 20-year terms.

Refinancing bonds are scheduled to reach 16.5 billion yuan, including 8.3 billion yuan in refinancing general bonds with a 10-year maturity, and 8.2 billion yuan in refinancing special-purpose bonds with maturities of 3 and 10 years.

The specific issuance size and bond tenors will be subject to the final issuance documents published at the time of release.
