A key municipal project in Quanzhou, the Shishi Xianghongjin Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant, has successfully completed its main structure topping-out ceremony. The facility is scheduled to pass its final acceptance inspection and be officially handed over before the Spring Festival in 2027.

Situated in Hongshan Town, Shishi City, the project is designed with a total treatment capacity of 90,000 cubic meters per day. Initial installation will include process equipment capable of handling 25,000 cubic meters daily, along with supporting sewage collection networks and reclaimed water recycling systems.

Once operational, the plant is expected to significantly address the region's sewage collection and disposal gaps, providing a robust safeguard for water quality in local small watersheds and coastal waters.
