Golden autumn brings abundant fruit, and the harvest feast benefits the people. On September 19th, the "New Harvest, New Chapter, Solid Action for Revitalization" 2026 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival Zezhou series of activities was launched in Bagong Town, with the special agricultural product promotion event running concurrently.

The promotion site was bustling with people, and the booths were neatly arranged. Featured products such as Bagong scallions, Lu Village millet, and Yicheng sweet potatoes were displayed in dazzling array. Among them, mugwort series products were particularly popular, attracting many visitors to stop, experience, consult, and purchase.

Agricultural product exhibitor Zhou Xuezhen said, "These are all handmade by myself. The mugwort leaves are harvested from local wild mugwort, and after grinding into fluff with a stone mill, they can be made into mugwort sticks, pillars, pillows, and seat cushions, which have the effect of dispelling wind and cold."

The event brought together original ecological agricultural specialty products from all townships in the county, covering fresh agricultural products such as millet, sweet potatoes, shiitake mushrooms, and eggs, as well as various handmade local crafts. Visitors moved between booths, tasting and selecting at will, enjoying one-stop shopping for authentic Zezhou agricultural products and fully savoring the joy of the harvest.

Visitor Ren Haiyan commented, "The variety of agricultural products at today's harvest festival is exceptionally rich. The millet and sweet potatoes are of particularly good quality—safe to eat and great value for money."

This harvest festival series of activities will last for three days, adhering to the purpose of "celebrating the harvest, promoting culture, and revitalizing the countryside," with farmers as the main focus. The activities are rich and diverse. In addition to the special agricultural product promotion, there are also sections such as artistic performances, farming culture exhibitions, policy publicity, new farmer achievement displays, and farmer fun games, showcasing the new era's rural landscape and farmer charm in forms that the public enjoys.
