Environmental authorities in Yancheng, Jiangsu, have released the ecological impact assessment report for the initial 300MW phase of the Longyuan Jiangsu Dafeng H12# 500MW wind-solar co-located offshore project.

The project has been selected as a pilot co-located wind and solar venture under the province's 2025-2030 offshore solar development plan and is recognized as a key provincial project for 2026.

Situated in the Dafeng district, the undertaking is being developed by Longyuan New Energy (Dafeng) Co., Ltd. and is scheduled to proceed in two stages, with the first phase delivering roughly 300MW and the second phase contributing about 200MW. The offshore booster station and submarine export cables are being constructed as part of the initial phase, with necessary provisions made for the future integration of the second stage. This current environmental review pertains exclusively to the 300MW first phase.

The initial phase secured its investment project registration certificate from the Jiangsu provincial authorities in May 2026. It will be positioned within the western zone of the existing Longyuan Jiangsu Dafeng 200MW offshore wind farm.

The development involves the construction of a 303.6MW offshore solar facility featuring a DC-side installed capacity of 364.1616MW of photovoltaic arrays, a 220kV offshore booster station, internal power collection lines, and two 220kV submarine cables.

Longyuan New Energy (Dafeng) Co., Ltd. serves as the project developer, operating under the umbrella of Longyuan Power, which is itself a subsidiary controlled by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group.
