APAC Resources (ASX: 01104) saw its share price climb more than 4% following the release of its annual results, with the stock trading up 4.21% at HK$2.23 as of the latest update, on turnover of HK$9.49 million.
The company announced its final results for the year ending 30 June 2026 on the evening of 23 September, reporting total revenue of HK$6.483 billion, a year-on-year increase of 96.04%. Net profit attributable to shareholders surged 601.69% to HK$1.711 billion, with basic earnings per share reaching 117.35 HK cents. The board declared an interim dividend of 12 HK cents per share alongside a special interim dividend of 8 HK cents per share, which serves in place of a final dividend.
The increase in profit was primarily driven by robust performance in the resources investment segment, which saw segment profit rise to approximately HK$1.17 billion. Additional contributors included a net reversal of impairments on associates' equity interests of around HK$245 million, a share of profits from associates of HK$260 million, and segment profit of HK$66.33 million from the commodities trading business.
