Raffles Education Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Raffles K12 Sdn Bhd, has paid RM 3,899,976.99 to fully satisfy four of six arbitration awards linked to construction contracts with Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd.

On Sep, 01 2026, Raffles K12 filed two applications in the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur to set aside the remaining awards concerning the main contract and the outdoor sports facilities contract.

Pembinaan Mitrajaya subsequently filed two originating summonses dated Sep, 11 2026 to enforce those same awards; the summonses were served on Raffles K12’s solicitors on Sep, 15 2026.

Raffles Education said Raffles K12 will vigorously oppose the enforcement actions while pursuing the applications to set the awards aside. The company is assessing the financial impact of these developments and will provide further updates when material information becomes available.
