A specialized training session aimed at nurturing national key specialized and innovative SMEs, part of the Beijing Stock Exchange's nationwide initiative, was held recently at the Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel. The event, also branded as the "Capital Market Express to Enterprise Acceleration" activity, was designed to address the real-world financing needs of these enterprises as they pursue capital market growth.
The training session brought together over 100 senior executives from more than 80 specialized and innovative SMEs across the city. It created a multi-party communication platform linking government bodies, businesses, and stock exchanges to help these companies better engage with the multi-tiered capital market system. The session was jointly organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Private Economy Development, along with other relevant units.
Key officials attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches, including Sun Li, Deputy General Manager of the Beijing Stock Exchange; Shao Rui, Deputy Director of the Qingdao Municipal Financial Affairs Office; Lu Yang, Party Secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Private Economy Development; and Li Shiwei, Party Committee Member, Deputy Director, and Second-level Inspector of the Qingdao Securities Regulatory Bureau.
The training content focused on illustrating how the integrated service system comprising the regional equity market, the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, and the Beijing Stock Exchange can foster the growth of specialized and innovative enterprises. It also analyzed common issues and solutions encountered during the IPO preparation process, offering clear and practical guidance for enterprises to scientifically chart their listing paths and standardize pre-IPO preparations.
Representatives from the Beijing Stock Exchange's Northern Base delivered lectures on listing route planning and the latest market developments on both the NEEQ and the Beijing Stock Exchange. Business experts from the NEEQ Listing Review Department explained how the standardized nurturing function of the NEEQ market helps drive innovation and development in specialized and innovative SMEs. A representative from the Blue Ocean Equity Trading Center elaborated on the construction of the specialized board and the green channel policy for the NEEQ market. Additionally, the Chief Financial Officer of Taikesi, a company already listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, shared practical experiences regarding the company's successful listing process.
This event represents a solid step by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Private Economy Development to deepen collaboration between stock exchanges and local governments, effectively implementing the capital market cultivation system for specialized and innovative SMEs. Looking ahead, the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Private Economy Development plans to use this training as a foundation to strengthen coordination with the Beijing Stock Exchange and the NEEQ, improve the multi-party collaborative working mechanism for nurturing such enterprises, and enhance the precision and adaptability of capital market cultivation services. The goal is to channel more capital market resources into the real economy, fully support enterprises in strengthening their core competitiveness, and leverage capital for leapfrog development, thereby gathering strong private-sector momentum for Qingdao's efforts to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces and build a modern industrial system.
