Wensheng District Party Secretary Leads Delegation on Inspection Tour of Liaoyang Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park

On the afternoon of September 18, Zheng Haitao, Party Secretary of Wensheng District, led a delegation to conduct research and inspection at the Liaoyang Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park. The group included district leaders Cao Zhongrui, Shang Xin, and Wang Li, along with heads of relevant district departments, township and street offices, and representatives from local enterprises.

During the visit, the delegation toured the park's comprehensive product selection exhibition hall and cross-border livestream operations center. They examined the construction progress of the e-commerce industrial park, the入驻 situation of enterprises in the product selection center, and product sales performance. The team also visited several companies, including Liaoning Shuanglian International Trade Co., Ltd., Liaoning Baoli Socks Import and Export Co., Ltd., the Liaoyang Import and Export Chamber of Commerce Workstation, and the Socks Industry Association, gaining detailed insights into the park's operational model, cross-border business operations of resident companies, and the chamber's services for cross-border enterprises.

Zheng Haitao emphasized that cross-border e-commerce serves as a vital platform for transforming and upgrading traditional industries and for enterprises to seize overseas market opportunities. He stated that Wensheng District should actively integrate into and support this ecosystem, attracting more enterprises to pursue international expansion and helping them develop the capability to go global, thereby facilitating the transition from traditional trade to cross-border business models.

The Party Secretary urged relevant functional departments to take proactive measures to optimize the business environment, focus on nurturing key products, and establish a professional service system to achieve industrial ecosystem clustering. He called for strengthened front-line services, precise delivery of enterprise-friendly policies, and resolution of challenges related to taxation, logistics, and talent. Additionally, he stressed the importance of deepening regular coordination with the industrial park, promoting the in-depth integration of local advantageous industries with cross-border e-commerce, and cultivating a stronger cross-border e-commerce market presence. These efforts are intended to help more quality Wensheng products reach overseas markets, enhance the district's overall foreign trade performance, and inject new momentum into regional high-quality economic development.

Following this inspection, Wensheng District will strengthen follow-up engagement to translate the inspection findings into concrete actions, accelerate the development of the cross-border e-commerce industrial ecosystem, and empower local advantageous industries to expand globally through digital platforms.
