Boeing has been awarded two US defense contracts with a combined value of approximately $41.5 million, covering sustainment services for Kuwait's F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fleet and technical data support for ongoing V-22 tiltrotor aircraft maintenance.

The first award is a contract modification worth $11.8 million, extending sustainment services for Kuwait's F/A-18E/F fighter jets. This six-month extension primarily covers logistics, program management, and maintenance support ahead of the aircraft's delivery to Kuwait, including pilot and maintenance personnel support, aircraft and equipment logistics, engine support, as well as packing, handling, storage, and transportation services during transit.

Work will be carried out primarily in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Jacksonville, Florida, with completion expected by March 2027. Funding for this effort comes from the Foreign Military Sales program.

The second contract, valued at $29.7 million, was awarded to the Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office and covers the development of load and dynamics model data for all V-22 variants. These technical datasets will support future long-term sustainment decisions for the V-22 program, accident investigations, post-production maintenance system transitions, and follow-on repair and upkeep activities for fleet support teams.

Related work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, as well as Fort Worth and Amarillo, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 2030. The contract utilizes $10.3 million in fiscal 2025 procurement funds and $19.4 million in fiscal 2026 procurement funds.
