MUYUAN Executes HKD 5.16 Million H-Share Buyback, Marginally Reduces Outstanding Shares

Muyuan Foods Group Co., Ltd. (MUYUAN) reported a share repurchase on 16 September 2026 under its ongoing mandate, acquiring 138,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for an aggregate consideration of HKD 5.16 million. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HKD 37.00 to HKD 38.38, with a volume-weighted average of HKD 37.41 per share.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.04 % to 308.37 million shares, while treasury shares rose to 1.85 million. Total issued shares, inclusive of treasury stock, remained unchanged at 310.22 million.

The buyback forms part of the 31.02 million-share mandate approved on 13 May 2026. Cumulative repurchases now stand at 1.85 million shares, representing 0.60 % of the total issued shares at the time the mandate was granted. In line with Hong Kong listing rules, MUYUAN is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until 16 October 2026.

The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable laws, listing rules and internal authorisations. No shares were cancelled as of the reporting date; the repurchased stock is being held as treasury shares.
