Skyworth Group reported that revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2026 rose 4.9 % year-on-year to RMB 38.04 billion, driven by solid overseas expansion and resilient domestic performance in core businesses.
Net profit jumped 180.8 % to RMB 1.03 billion, while profit attributable to shareholders surged 399.2 % to RMB 624 million. Gross profit margin widened by 1.1 percentage points to 13.4 %; EBIT margin improved to 4.5 % from 2.4 % a year earlier.
Segment performance • Smart Household Appliances: revenue up 4.0 % to RMB 17.75 billion, aided by product-mix upgrades in TVs and strong growth in overseas white-goods sales. • Smart Systems Technology: revenue climbed 30.7 % to RMB 5.34 billion, reflecting robust demand for set-top boxes and connectivity products from telecom operators worldwide. • New Energy: revenue edged up 0.7 % to RMB 13.90 billion; cumulative grid-connected photovoltaic capacity exceeded 34.6 GW.
Geographical highlights Domestic sales fell 1.7 % to RMB 27.81 billion, but overseas revenue rose 27.9 % to RMB 10.30 billion, accounting for 27.0 % of total turnover.
Cash flow and balance sheet • Operating cash outflow amounted to RMB 3.46 billion (1H25 inflow: RMB 2.14 billion). • Borrowings increased 32.8 % to RMB 25.46 billion; debt-to-equity ratio reached 106.9 %. • Cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 9.99 billion; working capital improved 15.8 % to RMB 12.63 billion.
Capital expenditure totalled RMB 318 million for plant expansion and RMB 243 million for equipment purchases.
The Board did not declare an interim dividend.
No shares were repurchased, issued or cancelled during the period.
As previously disclosed, the Company is pursuing a proposed share buy-back scheme and distribution of Skyworth Solar shares, subject to outstanding conditions.
