Mixed Opening for China's Futures Market as Crude Oil Surges Past 4%

At the start of trading on September 24, 2026, China's major futures contracts opened with mixed performance, with SC crude oil leading gains by rising more than 4%.
Synthetic rubber, fuel oil, and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) all advanced by over 3%, while styrene (EB) climbed nearly 3%. Pure benzene, No. 20 rubber, and bottle-grade polyester chips also recorded gains exceeding 2%.
On the downside, platinum dropped close to 3%, while silver and palladium both fell more than 2%. Lithium carbonate, polysilicon, stainless steel (SS), coking coal, and eggs each declined by over 1%.
