CR Construction warns 1H26 net profit to plunge over 90% on credit impairments linked to customer liquidity

CR Construction Group Holdings Limited issued a profit warning on 10 August 2026, stating that preliminary unaudited figures indicate net profit for the six months ended 30 June 2026 will decline by at least 90% from the HK$25.90 million recorded in the same period of 2025. Management therefore expects interim net profit to fall to no more than about HK$2.59 million.

The sharp contraction is primarily attributed to liquidity problems at certain customers, which prompted the Group to recognise credit impairments against trade receivables, contract assets and retention receivables.

The interim results have yet to be reviewed by the auditor or the Board’s audit committee. The company plans to release its full interim results on 17 August 2026 and urges shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when trading its shares.
