AK Medical Executes HK$0.05 Million Share Buyback, Lifts Treasury Stock to 32.42 Million Shares

AK Medical Holdings Limited (AK Medical) disclosed that it repurchased 10,000 ordinary shares on 14 September 2026 at HK$4.91 apiece, spending HK$0.05 million in aggregate. The buyback, conducted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the company’s mandate granted on 17 June 2026, represents 0.0009 % of AK Medical’s 1.08 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction.

Following the repurchase, the number of issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 1.08 billion, while treasury shares increased to 32.42 million. Total issued shares remain unchanged at 1.11 billion.

To date, AK Medical has repurchased 47.98 million shares under the current mandate, equivalent to 4.27 % of the company’s issued share base when the authority was granted. The mandate permits up to 112.46 million shares to be bought back. In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, AK Medical is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 14 October 2026.
