Sterling Group Holdings Limited (Sterling Group) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Sterling Apparel Limited (SAL) entered into a Repayment Agreement on 29 June 2026 with Santai and Mr. Choi, securing an early repayment of HK$30.00 million.
Under the original financing arrangements, SAL had extended: • Santai Advances: US$4.21 million (approximately HK$32.86 million) at 7% per annum; • Financial Assistance and Second Financial Assistance: HK$33.50 million in aggregate, also at 7% per annum.
Prior to the latest agreement, Santai had repaid HK$27.30 million in four tranches on 24 April, 30 April, 8 May and 15 May 2025.
Key terms of the 29 June 2026 Repayment Agreement • Mr. Choi’s loan receivable of HK$30.00 million was set off against Santai’s outstanding obligations. • HK$7.60 million was first applied to fully settle the remaining principal and interest under the Santai Advances. • The balance of HK$22.40 million was applied to the principal of the Financial Assistance facilities.
Post-transaction position • Santai Advances and related interest: fully repaid. • Outstanding principal on the Financial Assistance and Second Financial Assistance: HK$11.00 million. • Accrued interest on the above facilities: HK$4.30 million. • Total residual exposure: HK$15.30 million.
The Board considers the early repayment arrangement positive for the Group’s liquidity and overall financial position.
