The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 18 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 39.85 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 1.01 million shares, representing 0.25% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate date, leaving approximately 38.84 million shares available for further repurchase.
Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, STAR CM is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares, expiring on 14 October 2026.
