Midea Group Co., Ltd. (Midea Group) has confirmed that, effective 15 September 2026, it will shift to electronic dissemination of all corporate communications. The move aligns with Rule 2.07A of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules, introduced under the paper-less listing regime that took effect on 31 December 2023, and is consistent with the company’s articles of association.

Corporate communications—defined to include directors’ reports, annual and interim reports (and any summaries), notices of meeting, listing documents, circulars and proxy forms—will henceforth be provided exclusively in electronic format. Both English and Chinese versions will be accessible on the company’s website (www.midea.com.cn) and on the HKEXnews platform (www.hkexnews.hk). Printed copies will be discontinued unless shareholders specifically request them.

Non-registered shareholders are instructed to contact their respective banks, brokers, custodians, nominees or HKSCC Nominees Limited and provide an email address to receive electronic notifications. Those preferring hard copies may submit a completed reply form to the Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, 17M/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong, or send an email to Midea.ecom@computershare.com.hk specifying name, address and the required language version. No postage is needed for returns mailed within Hong Kong.
