Joint Circular Issued on National Agricultural Mechanization Development Blueprint for the 15th Five-Year Plan

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have officially released a joint circular regarding the new strategic plan for agricultural mechanization.

The document, titled the National Agricultural Mechanization Development Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, is addressed to all provincial-level agricultural and industrial authorities, as well as major state-owned agricultural groups including Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group and the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Agricultural Reclamation.

Where this initiative begins

This comprehensive blueprint serves to implement the directives outlined in the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China, along with the accompanying strategy for accelerating agricultural and rural modernization during the same period.

The authorities have instructed all relevant departments and entities to carefully study the plan and ensure its thorough execution, with the goal of advancing agricultural efficiency and rural development nationwide.

The plan was jointly signed and issued by both ministries on September 9, 2026.
