Intel rose 5%, SK hynix rose 3% in premarket trading, SK Hynix in talks with Intel about deal to make memory chips in the US for the first time, sources say.
Other Memory-chip stocks rose broadly in premarket trading, Micron, SanDisk, Seagate and Western Digital rose 1%.
Trip.com came out with quarterly earnings of $1.07 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.98 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.01 per share a year ago. shares rose 4%.
