In the golden September, as fruits of knowledge ripen, a competition was held to promote learning and establish standards of etiquette. Aiming to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Group Company's mid-year seminar and to embed the Group's "1236" strategic approach, the event sought to guide young employees in cultivating character and enhancing their professionalism.

On September 15th, the highly anticipated finals of the "Learn Corporate Culture, Be a Civilized Youth" knowledge contest, hosted by Qingdao Port International Co.,Ltd. (601298), commenced with great fervor. Following an intense preliminary round, ten outstanding teams from various grassroots units across the port advanced to the finals, ready to compete.

The finals adopted a live-competition format, encompassing five segments: compulsory questions, quick-answer questions, audience interaction, risk questions, and a tie-breaker round. It was a battle of both speed and intellect, testing not just memory but also composure. All ten teams were eager to compete, united by a singular goal: to claim the championship title.

As the competition unfolded, the compulsory question segment saw contestants answer with calm precision, demonstrating their firm grasp of corporate culture. The scores remained closely matched, with each correct answer drawing rapt attention from the audience and steadily heightening the atmosphere. In the rapid-fire segment, participants reacted swiftly, timing their responses perfectly to compete on both reflexes and knowledge, keeping the scoreboard tightly contested and the excitement palpable.

Questions ranged from specifics like "What does the '3' represent in the Group's '1236' strategic approach?" to broader queries on the "Five Awarenesses" laws within the port's corporate culture and the Group's key focus areas for safety production. The risk question segment pushed the competition to its peak, with teams choosing to answer challenging questions for higher stakes, accepting the risk of losing points on incorrect answers. None of the teams backed down, displaying remarkable courage and decisiveness in balancing high risk against potential reward.

Amidst the tension, an audience interaction segment provided a welcome respite, as enthusiastic spectators eagerly participated in Q&A sessions, embodying the spirit of "everyone participates, everyone learns." After several rounds of fierce competition, the teams delivered impressive performances, leading to the final results. The first prize was awarded to the "Wencheng Liyun Team" from the Oil Port Company and the "Dagang Pioneer Team" from the Dagang Company. The second prize went to the "Hongwen Qianggang Team" from Xilian Company, the "Ruizhi Yangfan Team" from Qiangang Company, and the "Jiangxin Zhixing Team" from QQCTU. The third prize was claimed by the "Sunshine Procurement Team" from the Procurement Center, the "Hongli Fenjin Team" from QQCT, the "Answer All Team" from Weihai Port, the "Hangwei Panxing Team" from the Tugboat Company, and the "Qinggang Emergency Team" from the Emergency Rescue Company.

Prior to the official start of the competition, a session featured advanced model presentations. Two trainees from the fifth session of the Middle-aged and Young Management Backbone Competency Enhancement Training Program took the stage, sharing their personal stories of gratitude, unwavering loyalty, and diligent skill-building in their respective roles. Their narratives, delivered in the style of "people sharing their own stories to educate their peers," vividly illustrated the responsibility and commitment of the port's young backbone force, deeply moving everyone present.

Following this, a compelling ideological and political lesson performance elevated the event further. Under the Group Party Committee's call to "build another Qingdao Port," the situational drama "Tide Surges at Dongjiakou" poignantly depicted a group of individuals who, carrying forward the spiritual heritage of "three generations of people," have rooted themselves in Dongjiakou. They are dedicated to major construction, securing a foundation for maritime growth, and continuously writing new chapters in the port's development amidst challenges. The performers' heartfelt acting left the audience deeply inspired, drawing prolonged applause.

The event was attended by the Group Company's Youth League Committee Secretary, relevant leaders from the Group's Party-Mass Work Department, heads of various directly affiliated Youth League organizations, and young employee representatives from all units. "Learn corporate culture, be a civilized youth" is more than just a competition; it is a spiritual baptism and a refinement of professional quality. It is hoped that all young employees will translate the knowledge of "learning culture and promoting civility" into their daily work, align with the Group's "1236" strategic approach, and strive to cultivate character with higher standards and enhance their skills with stricter requirements. As they take on stronger responsibilities to pioneer innovation, they contribute their youthful energy to building a world-class ocean port.
