Saudi Arabia's civil defense agency released an urgent alert on Tuesday morning in AlUla, flagging a potential threat before later confirming that the danger had subsided.

The warning encompassed not only AlUla but also extended to Jeddah, Yanbu—the key oil export hub on the Red Sea—as well as Abha, Jazan, and Taif. This particular alert in AlUla marks the first of its kind since the onset of the US-Israel conflict with Iran earlier this year.

While the civil defense authority indicated that the material threat triggered by the alert had diminished, it still urged residents and visitors to maintain vigilance, strictly adhere to official safety protocols, and avoid gathering or taking photographs in hazardous zones.
