COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. (COSCO SHIP ENGY) issued a supplemental announcement on 15 September 2026 to refine the tax treatment of its 2026 interim dividend, originally disclosed on 28 August 2026.

The company confirmed that, in line with the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation’s Announcement No. 27 (2026), dividends distributed to individual foreign shareholders fall under “income from interests, dividends and bonuses” and are subject to a 20% personal income tax. Accordingly, COSCO SHIP ENGY will withhold and remit this tax when paying the 2026 interim dividend to non-PRC individual holders of its H-shares whose names appear on the register.

All other details of the interim dividend distribution, as previously communicated, remain unchanged.
