Global technology market research firm IDC has released its 2026 China AI Compute Management Platform Technical Capability Assessment, which evaluates vendors across six critical dimensions. According to the report, PHANCY achieved perfect scores in four areas — compute resource management, compute operations and maintenance, technical architecture, and delivery services — earning the highest overall ranking among all assessed providers.
The assessment framework covers compute resource management, compute service management, compute operations, technical architecture, business scenario support, and delivery services. IDC notes that as artificial intelligence applications enter the phase of large-scale deployment and agent technology continues to evolve, AI infrastructure is transforming from basic compute platforms into core IT infrastructure that underpins enterprise digital transformation.
The report highlights PHANCY's notable strengths in unified management of heterogeneous compute resources, fine-grained GPU virtualization, large-scale cluster operations, and hybrid cloud delivery. The company's platform operates independently of chip vendors and currently supports compute cards from more than ten manufacturers, including Ascend, Hygon DCU, Cambricon, Iluvatar CoreX, MetaX, Moore Threads, Kunlunxin, Enflame, T-Head, and Biren, while enabling mixed deployment of training and inference workloads.
In terms of product capabilities, PHANCY's platform delivers zero-intrusion multi-core virtualization, dedicated and shared resource pools, intelligent scheduling, AI gateways, dual-metering of card hours and tokens, and agent-oriented compute service capabilities. It covers end-to-end operations spanning compute nodes, accelerator cards, tasks, and model services.
IDC also cited a case in which a Chinese policy bank leveraged PHANCY's three-track resource pool architecture to achieve unified management of compute resources across a two-site, three-center setup, improving resource utilization efficiency and supporting smooth business migration.
PHANCY founder and CEO Dai Wenyuan said that as the AI industry transitions from model competition to large-scale deployment, the critical challenge for enterprises has shifted from adopting large models to converting agent capabilities into sustained business productivity while maintaining controllable costs and stable operations. He added that PHANCY will continue to deepen its focus on heterogeneous compute orchestration and agent infrastructure to help enterprises enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of their AI applications.
