Prudential plc reported that on Sep, 15 2026 it cancelled 699,801 ordinary shares that had been repurchased earlier, trimming its issued share capital by about 0.028 % to 2,489,324,295 shares.

In addition, the insurer confirmed that a further 1,456,235 ordinary shares repurchased on Sep, 14–15 2026 remain held pending cancellation, equal to roughly 0.059 % of the current share base.

The latest purchases, all executed on the London Stock Exchange on Sep, 15 2026, totalled 747,958 shares and were carried out under shareholder mandates granted at the company’s 2025 and 2026 annual general meetings.

Prudential’s remaining authority from the 2026 mandate allows it to repurchase up to 249.8 million additional shares, while a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales applies until Oct, 15 2026.
