Sterling Group Holdings Limited reported that audited results for the financial year ended 31 March 2026 will not be released by the regulatory deadline of 30 June 2026.
The postponement stems from additional time required to furnish information requested by the independent auditor, particularly on expected credit-loss allowances for receivables and the Group’s working-capital forecasts. Consequently, the scheduled board meeting to approve the FY2026 financial statements and the subsequent dispatch of the FY2026 annual report have been deferred.
Failure to publish the audited figures by the deadline places the company in non-compliance with Listing Rules 13.49 and 13.46. Under Rule 13.50, trading in Sterling Group’s shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange is expected to be suspended from 9:00 a.m. on 2 July 2026 and will remain halted until the audited results are released.
The board will issue further announcements once a new publication date for the FY2026 results and annual report is determined. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
