Market participants report that the dollar/won spot rate has fallen for a second straight session, driven by foreign capital inflows into South Korean equities.

Hedge funds have been actively acquiring dollar/won put options, including digital options, according to traders familiar with the activity.

The dollar/won pair declined 1.4% to 1,354.55, with traders noting the longest-dated contracts extend up to three months.
