China Literature Limited (China Lit) reported through a Next Day Disclosure Return that it repurchased 200,000 ordinary shares on 15 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The purchase price ranged from HKD 18.87 to HKD 19.37 per share, with an aggregate consideration of HKD 3.80 million.
Including this latest tranche, China Lit has bought back 2.40 million shares between 2 and 15 September 2026 that remain to be cancelled. The cumulative cost of these nine sessions is calculated at approximately HKD 48.62 million, translating into a volume-weighted average price of about HKD 20.26 per share. The shares earmarked for cancellation represent roughly 0.24% of the company’s current issued share capital of 1.01 billion shares.
No new shares were issued during the period, leaving the total number of issued shares unchanged at 1.01 billion as of 15 September 2026. All shares repurchased in the latest transaction are intended for cancellation; none will be held as treasury stock.
Under the general mandate approved on 2 June 2026, China Lit is authorised to repurchase up to 102.15 million shares. To date, 16.05 million shares have been repurchased, equivalent to 1.57% of the company’s outstanding shares on the mandate date. Following the 15 September transaction, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 15 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations.
