On the afternoon of September 16, a cybersecurity awareness campaign was launched at the Nanfeng Town Practice Center for New Era Civilization, co-hosted by the Zhangjiagang Municipal Cyberspace Affairs Office, the Municipal People's Procuratorate, and Nanfeng Town. The event simultaneously rolled out the "Fengjian Tongxing & Weiai Huwang" joint initiative for the protection of minors online, aiming to comprehensively reinforce the digital security foundation.
Since the start of this year, Nanfeng Town has aligned with the "Qinglang" special action for minors' online protection, a directive from the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission. Through the town's "New Green Sprouts" development program, the initiative targets key demographics, including local students, children in summer care classes, and the "little migratory birds" of migrant workers, precisely addressing the cybersecurity education needs of young people. The goal is to guide minors toward healthy internet usage and positive growth through dedicated educational efforts.
The Municipal People's Procuratorate has developed the "Ailifang & Qingchun Wuyang" legal education brand, focusing on online protection for minors and legal awareness. By assembling a volunteer lecture team comprised of teachers, medical professionals, and child protection workers, the program actively brings legal and cybersecurity knowledge into schools, enhancing young people's ability to defend against online risks.
At the event, outstanding lecturers from the "Ailifang & Qingchun Wuyang" program shared their practical experiences, and newly appointed lecturers for the class of 2026 were presented with their certificates of appointment. Additionally, Nanfeng Town unveiled an internet service assistance station for enterprises, designed to address the cybersecurity needs of local businesses. This station leverages professional service packages to precisely resolve corporate pain points, empowering high-quality development across the region.
During the Cybersecurity Awareness Week, Nanfeng Town, in collaboration with the Municipal Cyberspace Affairs Office and the Municipal People's Procuratorate, will deliver a range of activities to schools, businesses, and families. These include exhibition panels, legal education videos, research experiences, volunteer presentations, knowledge quizzes, and legal scenario performances. Furthermore, through a party-building partnership between Nanfeng Middle School and China Telecom, specialized mini-courses on AI technology and science popularization will be offered, ensuring that online protection legal education for minors reaches all age groups and settings.
Looking ahead, the "Fengjian Tongxing & Weiai Huwang" initiative will drive sustained collaboration between Nanfeng Town and the Municipal People's Procuratorate. Together, they will refine a comprehensive protection framework involving the procuratorate, town, schools, families, and enterprises. This effort focuses on deepening online governance and legal services for minors, striving to establish a replicable and scalable "procuratorate-township co-building" model as a hallmark of minors' online protection. Concurrently, the initiative will advance both adolescent online safety and enterprise internet empowerment through coordinated multi-party efforts, fostering a clean digital environment conducive to the healthy growth of youth and the stable development of businesses.
