Mega Genomics Repurchases 96,800 Shares at HKD 7.14; Treasury Stock Climbs to 1.14 Million

Mega Genomics Limited disclosed that it bought back 96,800 ordinary shares on 15 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

The company paid a volume-weighted average price of HKD 7.14 per share, within a daily range of HKD 7.125 to HKD 7.14, for a total consideration of HKD 0.69 million.

Following the transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.04 percentage points to 223.16 million shares. Treasury shares increased to 1.14 million, while the total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 224.30 million.

The purchases form part of a repurchase mandate approved on 21 May 2026, which authorises buybacks of up to 22.43 million shares. To date, 1.14 million shares have been repurchased under this mandate, representing 0.51% of the company’s issued share capital on the authorisation date.

Mega Genomics confirmed that the repurchases complied with Hong Kong listing rules, and a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares is in effect until 15 October 2026.
