Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said a recently completed magnetotelluric (MT) survey has identified a new large-scale target at the Obradov prospect and highlighted several other significant areas for follow-up exploration at its Rogozna gold and base metals project in Serbia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the largest anomaly is a low-resistivity and high-chargeability anomaly beneath the Obradov Prospect, where drilling in 2025 encountered several zones of carbonate replacement style mineralization indicative of the distal parts of a porphyry and skarn mineralized system.
The convergence of MT, gravity, induced polarization , geochemical and drilling data has significantly strengthened Obradov as a priority target for future drilling, with a new target area also identified at Jezerska North, the filing added.
