Hiap Seng's Subsidiary Gets Lease Extension for Four Tuas Crescent Lots; Shares Down 8%

Hiap Seng Engineering, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hiap Seng Industries (SGX:1L2), has secured an extension of its leases for four lots in Tuas Crescent, Singapore, from the Singaporean government agency JTC, according to a Tuesday filing to the Singapore stock exchange.

JTC confirmed on Sept. 11 that Hiap Seng Engineering had complied with the terms of the lease-extension offer. Accordingly, JTC granted an extension of the leases until Aug. 15, 2038.

Shares of the engineering services provider were down 8% in Wednesday afternoon trade.
