Waymo has added Las Vegas to its repertoire of cities where its self-driving cabs are available.

The robotaxi company, which is owned by Alphabet, said Monday it is now providing fully autonomous rides to the public in the popular Nevada city.

Waymo plans to give increasing access to more riders in Clark County, Nev., as it works toward opening its services to everyone.

Earlier this month, Waymo launched driverless rides in Denver, San Diego and Tampa, Fla.

Competitors including Tesla and Amazon's Zoox have also been ramping up the number of cities where they operate.
