U.S. President Donald Trump launched a poll on social media platform X on September 19, proposing to rename “Artificial Intelligence” as “Superior Intelligence (SI)”, “Extreme Intelligence (EI)”, or “Supreme Intelligence (SI)”, calling these terms more elegant and accurate.

In his post, Trump wrote: “Many people think that the words ‘Artificial Intelligence’ are inaccurate, and very ineloquent, relative to AI, or Artificial Intelligence. A far more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomena would be Superior Intelligence (SI) or, Extreme Intelligence (EI) or, Supreme Intelligence (SI). This is a Poll, and I would appreciate everybody voting! Which is the best name for this ever growing ‘Revolution?’”

The post did not specify reasons for the renaming or any implementation plan; Trump issued the poll in a personal capacity. As of press time, the poll results have not been released.
