Tokyo Century Completes Payment of 12 Billion Yuan for Issuance of Bond-Type Shares

Tokyo Century (TYO:8439) completed the payment of a total of 12 billion yen for the issuance of three series of bond-type class shares through third-party allotment, according to a Friday filing with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The financial services company raised 2 billion yen from the issuance of 8 million shares to the Norinchukin bank at 250 yen apiece.
Tokyo Century also raised 10 billion yen from the issuance of 20 million shares each across two series of bond-type shares to Itochu (TYO:8001), also at 250 yen apiece.
The company reduced its capital by 12 billion yen and transferred it to its other capital surplus following the issuance.
