1701 ET - Cloud computing startup Nscale files for an initial public offering, positioning it to be the latest so-called "neocloud" to go public this year. Cerebras Systems, which both makes its own chips and rents out data-center capacity, raised around $5.6 billion in its May IPO at $185 a share. Cerebras shares closed up 68% at $311.07 on the day of its IPO, but have fallen 36% since. Data-center operator Csquare also went public in July, and its shares are down 13% from its initial closing price. SpaceX, which builds and rents out data centers as part of its various lines of business, also went public in a record-breaking IPO this summer.
