Dexus (ASX:DXS) said its 85%-owned Australian Data Centres' (ADC) consortium with Zerra DC and Macquarie Group's (ASX:MQG) Macquarie Capital will develop a hyperscale data center campus for an Australian subsidiary of Anthropic in Queensland's Western Downs region, according to an Australian bourse filing on Wednesday after market hours.

The consortium, in which ADC holds a 25% stake, signed lease documents for the first stage, pending customary approvals, while ADC is raising capital to attract additional partners, per the filing.

Dexus said it may participate in the capital raising but has not yet made a decision, while ADC's funding commitments remain subject to necessary approvals, including board approval from Dexus.
