Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) withdrew its AU$5 million share purchase plan (SPP), citing low participation from eligible shareholders amid challenging market conditions, according to an Australian bourse filing on Wednesday after market hours.
The company said all monies received under the SPP applications will be refunded in full, without interest.
The board has consequently withdrawn the resolution on issuing SPP shortfall shares from the Oct. 12 extraordinary general meeting agenda while confirming all other resolutions and previously submitted proxies remain valid, per the filing.
