Keda Industrial (SHA:600499) subsidiary Fujian Keda New Energy Technology will invest 4.5 billion yuan for the construction of a graphite anode materials production base, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The facility for lithium-ion batteries for energy storage will have a capacity of 500,000 tons per year, the filing said.
Construction is seen to last 10 to 12 months beginning in October 2026.
