Honda Motor (HMC) is in the final stage of talks to establish a hybrid vehicle plant in the US for 300 billion yen ($1.90 billion) to 400 billion yen, Nikkei Asia reported Thursday, citing sources.
The Japanese carmaker is considering Ohio for what would be its first North American plant in roughly two decades, the media outlet added.
Representatives for Honda Motor did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
