Odyssey Gold (ASX:ODY) said reverse circulation drilling at the Tuckanarra gold project in Western Australia reinforced the scale and continuity of the Cable-Bollard mineralized system, according to a Thursday filing with the ASX.

Drilling between the Cable and Bollard resource areas continues to show mineralization within a 400 meters-long area of strike beyond the current stage one scoping study pit, the company said.

A high-grade lode north of Cable provided an additional follow-up target outside the current mineral resource with an intercept of 4 meters at 22.9 grams per tonne grade of gold from 45 meters, the company added. It also encountered an intercept of 5 meters at 8.6 g/t grade of gold from 96 meters at the Cable West Hangingwall lode.

The gold explorer's shares fell nearly 3% in recent trading on the Australian bourse.
