Market Chatter: Tesla Prepares to Enter Vietnamese EV Market

Tesla (TSLA) registered a local entity in Vietnam this month, potentially paving the way for an entry into the country's growing electric vehicle market, CNBC reported Monday, citing business registration records.

The US EV maker will be competing with local giant VinFast Auto (VFS) in the Vietnamese EV market, according to the report.

Tesla didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

VinFast shares were down 1.5% in premarket activity Tuesday, while Tesla rose 0.4%.
