Shell Unit Agrees to Advance Gas Project in Trinidad and Tobago

Shell's (SHEL) Trinidad and Tobago unit has finalized commercial agreements with The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago to advance the Aphrodite gas project, NGC said Wednesday.
The agreements were finalized in early September and will allow NGC to use its pipeline and gas infrastructure to bring Aphrodite's gas reserves to market.
NGC said its infrastructure will provide the link between offshore gas reserves and downstream customers.
The company expects first gas in Q2 2027, it said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
