Vulcan Energy Resources Begins Commercial Scale Production of Lithium Extraction Adsorbent, Shares Advance 3%

Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) began the commercial-scale production of its proprietary lithium-extraction adsorbent, VULSORB, in Germany, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
This was also the start of production for first fill volumes for the adsorption-type direct lithium extraction columns ahead of the Lionheart project commissioning in the second half of 2028, where VULSORB will be used to selectively capture lithium from brine.
In collaboration with its tolling partner, Vulcan will manufacture the adsorbent over the next 18 to 24 months.
Its shares rose 3% in early trading on Monday.
